I bought the sleepi system and was very excited after reading many positive reviews.We put the bassinet together and quickly realized that the mattress was far too small.After looking online I found out that the mattresses had been recalled.I had to HOUND (around 15 phone calls and twenty emails) them for a proper mattress.I finally received the bassinet mattress after a few months. They promised to send a new crib mattress when they got them in stock.When I hadn't received a new one a few weeks after they told me to expect it, I contacted the representative I had been corresponding with via email.I then received an email stating that she would be "out of the office" until February.This is when I found out that they have removed their telephone number from their website.I have now gotten word that I must send them a picture of the crib and ill fitting mattress in order to get a safe one.The problem is, that would require me taking the bassinet apart in order to put a crib together that I won't need for a few months.The serial number of the mattress is listed as recalled and the won;t send me a new one without photo evidence. What would I get out of lying about it?What a pain.
BOTTOM LINE: Your baby's safety is of utmost importance...but not to this company.Terrible customer service.Just terrible.I think of my interaction with them as a second job.It requires that much effort and causes undue frustration.The crib itself is kinda cool but NOT WORTH THE EXPENSE (financial or time).
