Stretch the Giraffe Review

Stretch the GiraffeI bought `Mr. Stretch' several weeks ago to lively up the play mat for the now 4 month old I take care of. Her play mat was so boring and dull (it's by Carter's, the absolute worst play mat around, the colors are completely blah and non-exciting). I was going to go purchase `Hal the Horse', I recently bought that Lamaze toy for my 4-month-old cousin Isabel and she loves HIM. But when I saw Stretch, I fell in love with him and so did Hayley once I put her on the mat to play. She will play on there for a good hour, grabbing his legs and screaming with joy. The colors are just wonderful for her to look at, he has wonderful textures on both his legs and feet. She loves feeling all the ribbons around his feet, she just thinks he's the best! He's a definite winner and it stimulated her so much that she rolled over! She was determined to get to him and she did! Now she rolls over non-stop! Very highly recommended on my list (and the Tiny Love Gymini play mats are the best on the market if your shopping for one, definite no to Carter's or any of the others).

Prince Lionheart Crib Rail Teether Review

Prince Lionheart Crib Rail Teethermy baby is 9+ months now, with 3rd teeth coming out.he bends over and chew on anything in front of him to ease his teeth pain. He's also recently learned to pull himself up to stand in his crib.so crib rail became his favorite chewing thing.Luckily we installed this teether before his top teeth came out, and he's been chewing away on the teether.he has once or twice pulled on the teether to make it come off on one side, but never completely pulled it off.to resolve the problem of it coming off easily, you can tie it, use velcro on it, or tape it.frankly i think the material is nice, and you can't find anything better than this on the market right now.it definitely beats letting the baby chew away on the wood/plastic crib rail.it's easy to clean, too.i personally think it's a great product for the baby.

Manhattan Toy Peek-Squeak Monkey Review

Manhattan Toy Peek-Squeak MonkeyMy baby absolutely loves this toy! It has rubber feet to teeth on, a rattle ring, a crunchy noised blueberry on the monkey's tummy (my son loves that noise), a MIRROR under the blueberry, etc etc! There are just so many different aspects to this toy! There is even a loud squeaker in one of the ears that actually sounds like a monkey.

We did have a problem with the first one we bought where the little green leaf sewn onto the blueberry detached (!!!), but after contacting Manhattan Toy, they were more than happy to replace it and said that they had never heard of that happening before. They had me send them the original monkey so their QC department could inspect it.

The toy has a pink strap on the back of the monkey's neck with velcro at the end, this makes it possible to hang on things (i.e. a toy bar, the handle to an infant carseat, a stroller canopy, etc. Very versatile!
When my now 4 month old son was very small, he loved to look up at the Monkey and he would smile at its face. He still is enthralled with the monkey's face and now also loves to play with all the different toys on the monkey. Definitely a great toy!
