Leapfrog Rhyming Reflections Crib and Floor Mirror Review

Leapfrog Rhyming Reflections Crib and Floor MirrorI was looking for a mirror for my 3 month old and I came across this one.She loves it to this day!!When you press the frog in the middle it sings "I look in the mirror and what do I see?I see sweet, little wonderful me!" and if you press it again you hear "big bright eyes, cute button nose, tiny little fingers and tiny little toes" and if you press it once again it sings "round little cheeks and cute little ears, a cooing voice that mommy hears!"And then you have "Red Crab", "Orange Lion", "Purple Elephant", "Blue Hippo", "Yellow Starfish", etc.We LOVE this toy as you can probably tell ;)

Sassy Crib Mirror Review

Sassy Crib MirrorThe mirror is one of the only ones I've seen that is truly a mirror and not a toy with a bunch of stuff on it and a small mirror.I love the size and simplicity of it but it does not attach well to non-traditional cribs. If the crib's side is wide this mirror will not fit.

Edushape Flower Shaped Soft Mirror Crib Toy Review

Edushape Flower Shaped Soft Mirror Crib ToyThis toy was great for my baby from 3 to 6 months. She loved looking at herself and the bugs in the mirror. One bug plays music and I used to squeeze it in order to calm her down. I thought my, now 9 month old, daughter was totally over this mirror, until I caught her talking to her reflection one morning for about ten minutes. I understand the other reviewer's complaints--the velcro attachment at the top doesn't allow for enough loop room, and it comes off too easily when pulled. I solved the problem by affixing it to a baby toy ring before attaching it to the top crib rail. This worked great. The funhouse quality of the mirror reflection doesn't bother me. If anything, I think it adds interest. Overall, a great toy and super-cute!

Sesame Street Who's that Baby in the Mirror Review

Sesame Street Who's that Baby in the MirrorOrr baby, practically since birth, has enjoyed this mirror...I put in her diaper changing area so she would always associate that fun mirror, lights and song with diaper changing...she LOVES it and now (baby is 6 mos.) her grandma has one sitting in her diaper changing space as well.Even though it is meant as a crib toy, and perhaps we will use it as such someday, we have enjoyed using it to make diaper changing a pleasant experience...she NEVER cries or struggles during diaper changing!

Tiny Love Frog Kick Mirror Review

Tiny Love Frog Kick MirrorI read such wonderful reviews of this mirror, that I couldn't wait to get it.My baby is only 2 1/2 months old right now, and I find this mirror an irritation. It takes 2 people to get the mirror placed so that the driver can see baby's face (one person in the back seat and the other in the driver seat). The smiley face on the frog takes up valuable space. When trying to get baby's face positioned in mirror, the smiley face frequently cuts straight through baby's face, making her facial expression impossible to see.Hubby and I worked for 20 minutes to adjust this mirror so that Baby's face was visible from the driver's seat.Once the baby's face is visible and the frog's smiley face is around the area of baby's neck, the picture is warped so badly that I feel like I'm watching the movie Alien.I CAN see if baby's head is in the proper position and see if baby is smiling or frowning, making this semi-functional when mirror is placed right. The biggest problem is that when someone sits in the back seat next to baby, they may touch the hand or foot of the frog as they are buckling themselves in.If they do, then it moves the mirror and the quest to get the mirror placed correctly starts all over again.I give this 2 stars because I expect as baby grows, her legs will be long enough to reach frog's belly, and she may find the toy interesting to play with.At that point, I seriously hope I don't need to see her in the mirror anymore.

Manhattan Toy Peek-Squeak Monkey Review

Manhattan Toy Peek-Squeak MonkeyMy baby absolutely loves this toy! It has rubber feet to teeth on, a rattle ring, a crunchy noised blueberry on the monkey's tummy (my son loves that noise), a MIRROR under the blueberry, etc etc! There are just so many different aspects to this toy! There is even a loud squeaker in one of the ears that actually sounds like a monkey.

We did have a problem with the first one we bought where the little green leaf sewn onto the blueberry detached (!!!), but after contacting Manhattan Toy, they were more than happy to replace it and said that they had never heard of that happening before. They had me send them the original monkey so their QC department could inspect it.

The toy has a pink strap on the back of the monkey's neck with velcro at the end, this makes it possible to hang on things (i.e. a toy bar, the handle to an infant carseat, a stroller canopy, etc. Very versatile!
When my now 4 month old son was very small, he loved to look up at the Monkey and he would smile at its face. He still is enthralled with the monkey's face and now also loves to play with all the different toys on the monkey. Definitely a great toy!

Miracles & Milestones - Rhymes Go Round Mirror Review

Miracles & Milestones - Rhymes Go Round MirrorAs previous parents mentioned, this toy was not a big hit during tummy time; my son ignored it when he was really small. I then attached it to his crib figuring at least it looked cute. Then, once he got to be about 5 months old and strong enough to pull the cord, he loved it! He still plays with it all the time and he's a year old now. He loves it when my husband and I try to sing along with the songs.

Product Description:
The Fisher-Price Rhymes-Go-Round Mirror is the only crib mirror that encourages four different stages of a baby's development. Styled as a sweet elephant with a mouse friend, it offers lights, music and a fun motion.
In newborn mode, your baby's motion activates three tracking lights that softly pulse along the bottom of the mirror for visual stimulation and tracking, as well as 24 seconds of music. As your infant grows, parents can switch the mirror to baby mode to help develop coordination and motor control. As your baby begins to reach for the green pull-down handle, he is rewarded with a short little diddy, lights and the mouse "running" around the mirror.Outside of the crib, parents can place the mirror upright on the floor for tummy play. The elephant's feet hold the mirror upright and reveal a black and white developmental pattern. Your little one can build neck and torso muscles while gazing in the mirror or at the intriguing patterns, and can activate the tracking lights with the touch of a hand. Lastly, once your baby can sit unassisted, the mirror can be placed down flat in front of your baby, and when he pulls on the green handle, he is rewarded with lights, music and mouse movement. A must-have developmental toy from Fisher-Price.

Fisher-Price Precious Planet Crib-to-Floor Mirror Review

Fisher-Price Precious Planet Crib-to-Floor Mirrorit's a cute enough mirror but I noticed with the foot with the squeaker you have to push kinda hard and in just the right way to make it squeak.easy for an adult to do but probably not for a little baby. There are mirrors out there with better activities attached for around the same price.I would recommend looking at other fisher price mirrors as this is not their best one.i also recommend looking into sassy and lamaze mirrors.

I returned the lion mirror and got the sassy me in the mirror instead.it's more colorful and my baby loves pulling on the attachments. The mirror quality is better as well- more clear.

Sassy Crib and Floor Mirror Review

Sassy Crib and Floor MirrorI've read other reviews of this mirror and find that it does indeed stand up well on its own to serve as a good tummy time toy. The mirror is nice - does not distort the reflection, and it is framed in soft cloth with cute bugs that have tags and detach. It also boasts some sweet rings and curly cues to pull. It's very bright and definitely got my baby's attention.
