My daughter received this toywhen she was 2.5 months and she LOVES it.She really enjoys the song and she loves to kick the toy and hear the noises that she makes. It is definitely her favorite toy.We have not hung it in her crib but hold it in front of her when she sits in her bouncy chair so that she can kick at it.
I purchased this toy base on the 'hide-n-seek' factor. My daughter loves the tethered toys which are just small enough for her little fingers to grasp. It has a noisy/crinkle backing so she also plays with the 'petals' as well. As she loves to pull down her bumper pads to peek out, she was less able to do so with this toy attached to the side of the crib (it is quite large). This is quite an unexpected function which works for me.
Agree with previous comment - toy can be found at Babies R Us for $15.I purchased it for my 4 month old who had immediate interest in it - has a lot of great gadgets without the annoying, loud music that accompanies too many other toys out there.
This is a brightly colored stimulating toy which fits on the handle of a baby seat or carrier. You can easily move it from one place to another. Our 6-month-old grandson loves it!!I highly recommend it for age 6 months on up.
My 4 month old baby LOVES this toy!!He could be crying uncontrollably and this toy will always make him giggle right away.It is the best thing I have bought him yet.
My 3-month-old seems to really like this mobile. The smart response helps him fall back asleep when he wakes up in the middle of the night.Be careful with the settings!I had thought it had broken in just a few weeks of use but it was just that the batteries has worn down because we had it on the most sensitive setting. The smart response was turning on too much. We've since adjusted the setting and the mobile only turns on when we really need it to (when the baby is actually crying, not just cooing).
This crib is so adorable, and well-made! It looks just like a real crib with plenty of storage space below for extra dolls, doll clothes and accessories. The mobile is just adorable and winds up and really works...plays "it's a small world". A good value for the money...will last a long time. My little girls (4 and 1) love taking the baby in and out of the crib and organizing their goodies in the cabinet below. One of the cutest things in our house for the girls to play with...highly recommend!
The first toy my baby has acknowledged. He loves to look at his reflection and I sense that he will be reaching out for one of the bugs or the ball that spins and rattles very soon. No complaints about this product.
it's a cute enough mirror but I noticed with the foot with the squeaker you have to push kinda hard and in just the right way to make it squeak.easy for an adult to do but probably not for a little baby. There are mirrors out there with better activities attached for around the same price.I would recommend looking at other fisher price mirrors as this is not their best one.i also recommend looking into sassy and lamaze mirrors.
Every aby is different but there are some commonalities, such as their fascination with faces and mirror reflections. This mirror is great, safe and will adjust on the side of the crib.I hung it on the wall next to his changing table to distract to distract my son during diaper changes. It's sturdy too. He's pulled on it (and he is a rather strong baby) and it has held tough and I don't have to worry about it shattering. It's a small thing to have but oh so necessary.Great gift idea!
My son loved his Tiny Love mobile, and I thought the activity center would be a nice replacement when he grew out of it at 5 months.
My grandson did not enjoy this product at all. He found it very boring so did I colors are good on it but after a few times of seeing it he lost interest.
I was hesitant to buy this at first, since it was brand new and there were no reviews out on it yet. But, let me tell you - it was worth every penny! This mobile is made by the same company as the popular 'symphony in motion' mobile, so the quality and durability is there. For us, we loved the princess theme of the mobile and of course the cute pink colors.Just like the symphony in motion mobile, the top part of the mobile can be detached from the music box base part. There is a night lite option as well, and you can select either loud music or soft. The classical songs that this mobile plays are perfect for soothing a tired baby or just as background music.Another perk for us is the included remote control. We hang it near our bed, so that we can operate it from across the room (baby's crib is in our bedroom). If you are considering this mobile for your baby girl, we highly recommend it.
I bought this for my almost 6mo old when I found her pulling on the characters that hung from her mobile..Clearly, she had outgrown it; but she needed some crib toys to replace it. I like this toy because when Mamma needs to hit the baby snooze button--this is it...I press the face, music starts, she remembers that she has this and another toy in the crib and occupies herself for at least 10min-sometimes she falls back to sleep within the 5min of music it plays. At 4-1/2mo my daughter was pressing the button(attached to crib)to turn on her mobile by herself. Only bumber with this is she can press the face but not turn it on. You have to press firmly, right between the eyes. It's OK because she really loves the ends lighting up and of course she has tasted all of the colorful arms many times over--I know they stimulate her brain too* It would've been nice if there was some sort of volume control on the music(soothing-but same one over & over). I would say-worth it for the price--ideally would've bought it for her when she was younger-at 7mo she just looks at it for a minute-I turn the music on,which she likes-and then it becomes background music for her as she plays with other things.
The toys weren't exactly what I expected. I don't know if I just missed somethin somewhere when I looked at the item before I purchased, but you have to be able to pull the crib bars out in order to put these toys on. The toys are great quality and everything, I just can't use them with the crib I've got.
If I would have made a review about this product when my son was 4months old I would have only gave it a 2 because he would kick but wouldn't seem all that interested. But now that we finally made a move we have started to unpack things and once I found this I gave it to him one morning.Right away he went scooting to it and hitting it.Before I knew it he was SITTING on it.He now LOVES this thing and it will entertain him for quite a bit - which is nice because it has replaced him going for our laptop 100% of the time hah
