Mortimer the Moose was a hit with my daughter who is only 3 months old but VERY active and attentive.
The moose has so many nice colors to attract my daughter's attention. In fact, as soon as she saw the moose, she smiled and kicked.
Given the size of the moose (fairly large), it is not a problem for her to handle it since there are so many places she can hold on to.She is easily able to grip onto the mooses legs and/or "ring" tail (the tail of the moose is 2 textured rings, which makes for easier handling with little ones that have such small fingers).
The ears are gummy and great for teething babies. But for my 3 month old who has no teeth just yet, she is content to suck on the mouth of the moose which is soft, instead. The nice thing about this is I don't have to worry about the fur coming off and her choking on it.
This moose is wonderful for her motor skills. I like the fact that it is all-in-one--a chew toy (ears are gummy); a rattle (2 hoofs rattle), a crinkler (two hoofs crinkle when squeezed); has play rings (tail is made up of 2 colorful, textured rings); a stuffed animal (something to hold that's soft and cuddly); the scarf crinkles; the body of the moose has a squeak toy inside, so when you press the body it makes a squeaking noise; and last but not least, it even has a hook (ring shaped with opening) to allow you to hang the moose any where you'd like.
For the price, it's a wonderful gift, a great deal and will sure to be a hit with the infants! (BTW, even my 3 year old loved it!)

This is a very soft toy.Great for an infant.The rattle has a soft tumbling ball sound.Nice small size for small hands.Very cute.
It is very difficult to attach it to anything. The straps are to short and under strange angel. My son did not play with it.
My little boy was 5 months old when we purchased this toy set and he LOVES every item!The puppy's tummy makes a crunchy/crinkle sound and is his favorite.His other favorite toys in the set are the puppy teething ring and the ball.He likes, plays with, and constantly wants to explore every item in this set.I'm so glad we decided to get these toys!
This is my first review.My daughter got these for Christmas and she is now 4.5 months old.She still can't lift them comfortably as a group.I think they are too heavy and clumsy for the age group they are listed for.6+months might have been better.She's hit her self in the face trying to lift them and, trust me, that is not a pretty sight.I agree that the white ring they are on does not stay shut and they fall off all the time as well.
This is a great toy for early development.The bright, contrasting colors and the mirror are great for newborns.Our son was staring at the mirror at two weeks, and pushing on the toy by three.It is the first toy that he has truly interacted with.Plus, the look of the toy is fun and whimsical, so it looks great in the nursery.
The first toy my baby has acknowledged. He loves to look at his reflection and I sense that he will be reaching out for one of the bugs or the ball that spins and rattles very soon. No complaints about this product.
This is one of the best baby mirrors we've found.We saw several that were much more expensive.This one is large, very brightly colored and durable.The babies just love it, and my daughter in particular spends hours holding it above her head and talking to the baby in the mirror.
it's a cute enough mirror but I noticed with the foot with the squeaker you have to push kinda hard and in just the right way to make it squeak.easy for an adult to do but probably not for a little baby.There are mirrors out there with better activities attached for around the same price.I would recommend looking at other fisher price mirrors as this is not their best one.i also recommend looking into sassy and lamaze mirrors.

They can hide in their color-matched soft homes with plenty of doors and windows to open and close to teach early prepositions like "in," out," " back" and "front." Kids love to stuff the big bad wolf (and all the pigs for that matter) down the chimney and watch him magically appear inside the house. Carry on little conversations with your pigs as your toddler chooses one to speak for too.
My 4 month old loves it, and has loved it since he was around 3 months old. I hang it from his bassinet, the toy bar on his stroller/car seat, and the toybar on his swing. It always catches his interest and as he's growing he's discovering new things about it. That the feet make sounds or feel crunchy, etc. It's great to watch him engage a toy like this. It's the first one that he had interest in, and the longest-lasting.
We call him Mr. Octopus or Old Blue:) We bought this toy for our daughter when she was just 3 months old, and she has loved it from the instant we showed it to her. She's now 8 months and continues to love this toy. Her whole face lights up when we get him out, or show him to her. She really likes the music and water sounds. She likes to chew on the crinkly legs, or the little rings and chewie that he has attached to him. He's soft and washes off easily. It's a good sized toy also, she can hang on to him and he's not too heavy or awkward. I would buy him again in a heartbeat!
My wife and I bought this for our daughter, who was six weeks old at the time, and she is ten weeks old now. She loves to be held, and we love holding her, but anytime we wanted to put her down to shower or anything, she would cry as if the world was ending. Then we bought this mobile and she is thrilled to lay in her co-sleeper when we need to put her down for short periods of time!
