LeapFrog Baby Counting Pal™ Plush Review

LeapFrog Baby Counting Palâ„¢ PlushMy daughter received this as a gift for her birthday when she turned 1 year old.I thought it was a little strange at first and I wasn't quite sure if my little girl would like it, but boy did she prove me wrong! She LOVES this toy!!!When she first played with it, it took her a very short amount time to get the hang of it and quickly learned where the buttons are that make the music go... now sheeven presses the little buttons that change the modes on her own!Other reviewers complain about how small the button area is... my daughter doesn't have a problem with it and neither do I.It teaches your baby to be persistent and keep trying and once they "get it", it's second-nature, like riding a bike.I don't agree with the age range for this toy- I think it is much too advanced for a 3 month old- I would recommend this toy for age ranges beginning at 6 or 9 months, depending on the baby. This toy doesn't just teach numbers and counting, it also has several different modes which include colors and two different music modes.I would recommend this toy to anyone!

Neurosmith Sunshine Symphony Review

Neurosmith Sunshine SymphonyThis was a gift from a friend and our 8 week old would watch it while we were in the car. He has grown up with it and at 18 months it is still one of his favorite toys. The music is pleasant so it doesn't drive you nuts the way other electronic toys can and our toddler has learned to touch it to keep the music going. He has even increased his fine motor skills by turning the switches on and off in the back. We just bought three more to give out as gifts to our friends that are having babies. This was a great toy.

Lamaze Stretch the Giraffe Review

Lamaze Stretch the GiraffeMy 4 month old loves it, and has loved it since he was around 3 months old. I hang it from his bassinet, the toy bar on his stroller/car seat, and the toybar on his swing. It always catches his interest and as he's growing he's discovering new things about it. That the feet make sounds or feel crunchy, etc. It's great to watch him engage a toy like this. It's the first one that he had interest in, and the longest-lasting.

Large eyes. View larger. Stimulates Baby's Vision and Auditory Skills
When babies are first born, they see in black and white. This is why Stretch strikes a balance between bright, high contrast patterns that help stimulate baby's vision, and bold solid colors that give baby's eyes a place to rest. Sounds like rattle, crinkle, jingle, chime and squeak also help stimulate and develop baby's auditory skills. Finally, Stretch's large, friendly eyes invite baby to focus and stare at a single object, which can help calm baby while supporting healthy eye development.
Builds Coordination
Stretch has a soft, plush body and head that encourage exciting play or quiet cuddling. Stretchy legs feature colorful ribbons, knotties and clinky rings that help build coordination by rewarding baby's pulls, squeezes and grabs with fun sounds. Baby can also clutch or chew on the safe, cheery and clinky rings around Stretch's neck, and grasp and twist the securely fastened ears, horns and decorative ribbons.
Stretch measures 3.0 x 6.0 x 12.0 inches (WxHxD), is machine washable, and comes backed with a 90-day limited warranty.
